A Web-Based Survey About Using Technolgy

SABE

SABE is a research partner on the Beach Center on Disability at the University of Kansas’ grant about technology use and intellectual disability.  Self-advocates of any age who have developmental and/or intellectual disabilities can participate in this survey.  You will be asked about different types of technology and use of information technology, including computers and cell phones.  The survey link is on the web at http://survey.ablelinktech.com/QuestNet/bcstart.asp

  • Persons with some disabilities may need help since there are some multiple select questions and a number of choices within the survey.
  • Survey questions are accessible to people who have limited reading or low vision.
  • Survey results will help researchers document technology use for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This is part of a Directed Research project funded by NIDRR, part of the Department of Education.

For more information, or to receive a paper copy of the survey contact Susan Palmer at 785-864-0270 or by e-mail:  spalmer@ku.edu
