SABE Voter Project

SABE’s Accessible Voting Project – National Technical Assistance Center for Voting and Cognitive Access
This project is led by self advocates to help protection and advocacy organizations (P&As) to help people with developmental disabilities better access voting in their communities.

Our Community Standing Strong

RRTC Employment

Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Advancing Employment for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

Allies: Juliana and Topper

The project has 4 areas of focus:

Strand 1 Individuals and families
Strand 2 Employment consultants (staff that helps people find jobs)
Strand 3 Provider agencies that serve people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Strand 4 State and National Policies
SABE participates in 2 monthly calls (one is to prepare SABE board members and the other is with project team members), in charge of writing 1 white paper, and to present at national and local conferences about employment of individuals with disabilities.
